Sadly I didn't check this website out before buying our van. We were told the van had four solar panels, it has one. Half of the vans lights does not work. It was sold to us with excellent looking tyres on that turned out to be ten years old and we had to replace them before embarking on our once in a lifetime holiday. Read the website way too late to ask for a refund. We've been had but it was totally our own stupidity and to the owners advantage that we never owned a van before. Make very sure you read what his website says from top to bottom before buying a van here. Check the tyres and do a damp test. In fact print off a checklist before you go.
Not my greatest sales experience given I was in Adelaide and had many normal questions about the van I wished to purchase, I was about to travel from Adelaide to Warragul to collect this van... The feeling I got was basically could not wait to get the cash $ and get me out of there.... He needed that OS holiday coming up or perhaps retirement! Maybe a clash of personality types but I found the owner to be somewhat condescending, direct and slightly rude in his manner. No warm fuzzies..The van itself was what I wanted.Just adding to your reply....when dealing with sales people I like a record of interactions, especially if I am buying without even seeing the van and travelling a long distance to get it. Email is pretty standard these days! When I did ring you, you didn't return my calls because you must of found my normal line of questioning a bit beneath you. This was the first van I had bought and I had not towed a van before. The question about the brakes was asked of me by the professional personal who was going to install electric brakes on my car. Seeing as we are using capital letters here now...it wasn't really a "ONE OWNER" van as you advertised..was it now...? And given the very high profit I now know you made on the van, a few D shackles would not have broke the bank. Buyers tip also, check the roller wheels on the poptop spring mechanism, if they are disintegrated then it will cost a fair amount to have them fixed, as I found out.
Great van. Friendly service. Thank you
Peter and Sue were great, good van that was hard to get but at the right price. Peter is no nonsense and made the purchase easy and no fuss. Sue's after sales care was great, really helped in making the entire process very simple and gave me some great advice on how to manage the transit of the van to me in Tassie. Thanks very much for everything.
Unfortunately the Van I purchased leaked water from rear windows....not friendly just wants your money not interested in small talk... wants you to purchase 5 minutes after inspection...its all to inconvenient and all about him. Disappointing! Shouldnt be in sales wrong personality! Some of his vans look ok.
